“What did you mean before, when you said I wasn’t Terran? I’m Human.”

“You are not from Terra.”

“But you said Humans were from Terra, and I’m Human!”

“Your DNA signature is indeed similar. It is not close enough.”

“But I look like the Humans you showed me, the Humans from Terra!”

“The differences of phenotype are subtle but significant, and most often manifest in soft tissues. For instance, your Cerebral Neuronal Density is sixty-eight percent of that of the average Terran Human, an unlikely difference of several deviations. While many of your anthropological features, such as skeletal structure and cranial capacity, are remarkably similar to Terran Humans, you are not from Terra.”

“Where am I from?”
